Reactivating connection: YES! is back

We're excited to share that the IGU YES! Gender and Geography network, our caring community of early career scholars in feminist geographies, is back online! Since forming a new steering committee in early 2025, we've been working to reactivate this essential space for connection, reflection, and mutual support.

In our recent open meetings, participants have shared their personal journeys into feminist geographies, research interest, and visions for the network. These gatherings have reminded us just how powerful it is to come together to share struggles, exchange ideas, and imagine feminist academic futures.

Whether you're researching gender, space, power, or any related theme through a feminist lens, YES! is a space to find support and solidarity.

We meet online every first Friday of the month, and new members are always welcome.
